Know your rights. If you are pulled over on a traffic stop, be polite but assertive. If you are a citizen, present your ID, registration and proof of your insurance. Do not sign the ticket unless it is under threat, duress or coercion. In the event it is, always write before your name "no contract" and after your name "Under TDC".
